This was from Punk Rock Night at the Melody Inn in Indianapolis, recorded March 16, 2008. This is a Pogues tribute band, created for the enjoyment of it, by nine friends from Bloomington, IN. My son, Ben, plays mandolin and drum, Rob’s on accordian (Ben and Rob are in the SumpPumps, a Bloomington band), Ben’s roommate Matt’s on bass (Matt’s also Sam Lowry, a Bloomington band), Mike’s on guitar, Anne’s on flute and pennywhistle, and I’ve forgotten the two great guys on drumset and banjo, but I just met them that night. This was a great night in a great neighborhood bar. There were three other bands on first, and all were great. But the Fauxgues (think “Fogues,” but more clever) were just great. And the Melody Inn is a wonderfully friendly and unpretentious bar to enjoy authentic original music at in Indy.

Carnegie Hall Presents in a Neighborhood Concert Series event The Bar-Olk Project: Arthur Sato, oboe (producer); Kristoffer Saebo, double bass (producer); Chris Norman, flute, pipes, and vocals; Lionel Party, harpsichord. With special guests: Sami Merdinian, violin; Meena Bhasin, viola; Jody Redhage, cello; Nick Halley, percussion, piano, and vocals; Andy Thurston, guitar.
Seeking to bridge cultures and traditions in a concert format that appeals to young adult audiences, Saebo and Sato have collaborated to create The Bar-olk Project, which compare and contrast the performance traditions and notions of authenticity of both Baroque-era classical music and folk music. The concert mixed discussion and interactive elements with performances featuring Saebo, Sato, The Chris Norman Ensemble, and a Baroque Ensemble created particularly for this program, led by New York Philharmonic harpsichordist Lionel Party. Music was selected from composers J.S. Bach, C.P.E. Bach, F. Barsanti, W. McGibbon, M.P. Monteclair, and J. Oswald, among others as well as the traditional music of Maritime Canada, Scotland, and Ireland.

DOCUMENTING CHICAGO’S LAKE & HALSTED NEIGHBORHOOD: Providing random views of the local nightlife, from LAKEandHALSTED.com
7/13/08 – SHADOW BAR MOB STREET FIGHT
3:05 AM: As SHADOW BAR closes Sunday morning, a mob of club-goers engage in hand-to-hand combat to settle a dispute. Several SHADOW BAR security intervened quickly to break up the fighting and disperse the angry crowd. CHICAGO POLICE were not initially present as the mob began fighting, but arrived to the scene along with CHICAGO FIRE DEPARTMENT emergency vehicles.
The first half of the video was filmed on remote, till the fighting was heard. Footage from one of 4 ADT security cameras was inserted to show the mob fight along the north side of Lake Street. The ADT footage is not very clear since it was shot directly from the monitor screen.

dude watching me, we ended up chatting and he gave me his number and directions to his work if i ever needed help with what he does. I think he might like me because of the way he kept watching me or whatever. I think he is in his 40s. What would you do if you were me? I like bikers idk about the age thing but i don’t think men are truly able to settle down unless they are close to death anyway.
i clicked on it john and srry im not ganna read all that and you look 40 to me (you asked in the beginning how old do yu look)
If he appeals to you, you have nothing to loose but to get to know him better & see if the two of you have things in common. If you do, you think you’d enjoy going w/him, then by all means pursue it. You’ve just gotten divorced 3 mons. ago, so just be careful w/anyone in the beginning as you don’t want it to be a "rebound" situation. He gave you his number, directions to his work, so I’d say that’s a "starter" for you. For now tho I wouldn’t be looking for "marriage material", I’d be looking for someone to have some fun & do things with. So forget the "age thing" for now & just go w/the flo. My "ex" had a bike & we went on some fun trips. The longest one was a 9 hr. trip I can’t forget as we had to stop every 1 1/2 hrs. or we got numb in our "sitting areas" if we didn’t…lol I also was a legal sec. at that time, so I didn’t have to worry about going w/the more "sofisticated" person just because of my career position! The most important thing is to whatever makes you happy regardless of who they are, what they do, or even their age. When the rite one comes along, you’ll know it & that’s when it’s time to start taking things more seriously. For now just enjoy the "ride" of being free & don’t be in a hurry to tie any knots for the time being, that day WILL come…the best to you…:)
The last night at the Decatur.
