Why are libs upset about a bar in my neighborhood that has a sign saying "Nuke Iraq"?

Last tIme I checked, we have freedom of speech. If a bar owner wants to put up a sign saying "nuke Iraq" who do these "sophisticates" get so upset?

I was curious if anybody (a bar owner or maybe somebody who personally knows a bar owner) could tell me what they potentially makes each year. I am talking about a small to medium sized neighborhood bar. I obviously understand that there is no set number, and it depends on many different things that determine an owners profit as in any business. But I am just looking for a ball park number because I am considering opening one myself.

I’m looking to find a new place for drinks… I’d like to hang out with a new crowd and meet new people. I’m tired of the stale old sports bars and overly stuffy neighborhood bars.

So, is there a reputable website where I can search for bars and read reviews and find out a bit about the clientele?

6 Drink Minimum at neighborhood bar?!?

There is a casual bar by my house that has been in operation in the neighborhood for 27 years. They are changing their policy that every patron in the bar has a 6 drink minimum. You get a card with 6 boxes on it and with each drink you get the bartender punches your ticket. The bouncers will not let you leave unless all 6 boxes are punched. Is this really a good idea??

Sounds like you heard something wrong, or you made this up. No bar would risk 27 years in business for something like that. They can charge a cover, which may allow you six drinks on a card, but they can’t force you to drink them or keep you from leaving.

Although, it might be a fun place with that rule.

People bounce from one bar to bar looking for the cheapest booze and eventually all the bars go broke.

No. The rich in the US have set up a system that increases the flow of money from the poorest 90% to the richest 10%. Once they have broken our nation, they can follow their investments overseas, letting the poor blame foreigners and the poorest of the poor for our problems.

Hi, im Dave for the past 1 1/2 years i have been thinking of opening a hookah lounge. A hookah lounge is a place where you go to smoke flavored tobacco,eat tasty food, and socialize with people. does this idea sound appealing to you? would you attend and if so what would you want to see in a place like this? tell me all your ideas none of them will be shunned.

yeah dude i would definitely go, except i think you should probably sell alcohol as well. but you have a great idea here.

I was drunk from last week and skipped out on my tab in error. Anyhow, the barmaid says, "Hey, I’ve been waiting on you." She tells me my tab and I pay it. She’s like the bartendender girl in "The Fighter". Meanwhile there are 3 guys 3 seats down who I used to play baseball with me all the time. I used to strike them out all the time since they couldn’t hit a good pitcher. Anyhow, the bartender starts talking to me and I lie about my age, saying I’m 5 years younger than the big bald head guys age. Even though we’re the same age, I look 25-27, they’re 38 like me. Anyhow she starts talking to me and we get along, plus she gives me a wave goodbye. I drive a Lexus IS250 and am physically fit at 38. All in all, the guys give me a crappy look when she waves to me. I try to stay shy, but what am I supposed to do? They’re out of my league because they know I’m financially more sucessful.

if she heard you exchanging stories with these guys then she has to figure you are the same age as them. You would not be in the same baseball league if you were younger.
all women want is a nice car and a good job.
