If you were a witness to a crime committed in your neighborhood?

Posted by admin on February 19th, 2010 and filed under neighborhood crime | 13 Comments »

would you go to police and teel everything you saw?

If you know a crime is being committed against another, and do nothing, you are choosing to abet the criminal act and, as such, become an accomplice in the crime. Once you know something you become responsible, whether you accept the responsibility or not. You are saddled with a duty to help the victim, its how civilized society works. Would you want another to watch you be victimized and remain silent? I wouldn’t, and neither would any other reasonable person.

Psychic, will there be a neighborhood burglaries in our neighborhood this Holiday season?

Posted by admin on February 17th, 2010 and filed under neighborhood crime | 4 Comments »

We do not have a neighborhood crime watch in our neighborhood. I am the only one who looks out late at night.

I have witnessed a few situations over the summer. Crime related. Now that people are away or having gifts in their cars over night I do wonder.

While I have never used the internet to see at distances, it would be difficult to answer your question without a direct connection to you in. How could anyone be certain that I or any medium can see your future and not that of another without a direct connection being made. It is like getting a wrong number that you dial incorrectly. Your phone does connect but not to the right person.

Here is one for you. The other day, we met a lady in the spa who was having trouble with her computer connecting to the Wifi. Her name was Pat and they just moved in down the street from us. So I promised to drop by in a day or two to see what the problem was.

So two days later, I went down to see Pat and her husband, whom I have yet to meet. But they were not in the lot I was told so I went to the next lot as she might have been mistaken. So, I met Dave whose wife was Pat and I told him that we had discussed my taking a look at their computer. He told me that they have not been able to connect to the Wifi for 4 years and didn’t know why. So then after looking it was obvious that they did not have the card in their laptop. Then Pat came out from the back of their coach, but this was not the same Pat my wife and I met in the Spa. The original Pat and her husband pulled out unexpectedly that very morning. They also were from the same part of our home state.

It seems that there were 2 people named Pat who had both recently moved in and were having trouble with their computers.

A couple of days later I checked to see about the computer and Dave told me that he bought a card for their computer and was hooked up to the internet via the Park’s Wifi.

That was strange.

None the less, I hope your holiday was a safe and secure one.

Can I legally break my lease if there has been a drastic increase of violent crime in my neighborhood?

Posted by admin on February 14th, 2010 and filed under neighborhood crime | 1 Comment »

I’ve been living in my apartment for 4 months and within the past month 4 people have been shot on my street. 2 of which were shot within 100 yards of my front door. I’m worried that with summer approaching, the violence is only going to get worse. unfortunately, my lease is not up for another 8 months.

No.
