Would a buffet kind of restaurant make money like a sit down one?

Posted by admin on March 11th, 2010 and filed under neighborhood restaurant | 6 Comments »

I mean in a rich neighborhood. Most of the time you see people in those kinds of neigherborhoods in sit down and order type restaurants.

Buffet style used to be very popular, because food was ready.
People could see what they were getting, try different things.
Health & Sanitation regulations have tightened considerably.
In response to many serious food poisoning complaints.
Because the food was not always kept safe & fresh.
Nowadays, a lot of food gets wasted & cannot be served.

Especially in rich neighbourhoods, people like being served.

Windsor – The New North Central Phoenix Restaurant

Chris Morrison and Cindy Fassel with Morrison Residential / www.NorthCentralLiving.com interview Craig DeMarco owner of Postino wine bar to talk about his new restaurant WINDSOR in North Central Phoenix. Set to Open September 2010!

Postinos is celebrating their first anniversary on Central! And what better way to celebrate then by breaking ground on a new restaurant.
Located in the 1940s building just north of Postinos on the east side of the street a renaissance begins. Planning to open by September 2010, WINDSOR is a neighborhood restaurant that will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu was inspired by simple farm style cuisine. Always using the freshest ingredients, home style breads, jams and farm grown veggies, I guarantee, you will not leave hungry. Another surprise store is planned, but you must visit our website for that secret and a you tube video of owners Craig and Chris DeMarco and Lauren Bailey. www.northcentralliving.com
And dont forget about Postinos with its extensive wine selection, beers, incredible bruchettas, salads and sandwiches. This open air café is a great place to gather with friends and family. Bike, or walk for the weekend brunches, or a light snack after the game, or play. It is within walking distance from the light rail at Central and Camelback. www.postinowinecafe.com
North Central is fortunate to have the commitment and vision that these young entrepreneurs are bringing to our neighborhoods. While respecting the history and architectural integrity of the buildings they are bringing back to life. Thanks to the DeMarcos and Baileys for that consideration, as well as the great food!

Can you recommend a good restaurant in NYC for a date?

Posted by admin on March 9th, 2010 and filed under neighborhood restaurant | 5 Comments »

Can you recommend a good sit down restaurant in NYC I would like to spend $30 between $75 for a meal.

I would like somewhere with a cool atmosphere and good food. I do not like Sushi or Indian. My favorite kind of food is Italian.

Any neighborhood will do. I will be taking a date there.

Patsy’s Italian Restaurant at 236 West 56th Street, NYC. Reservations needed.

A mouthwatering medley of Middle Eastern morsels! That’s what you’ll find at Zaytoons. Almost everything is made on site and is reasonably priced! Add the enticing decor and you’ve got something special. It is such a perfect neighborhood spot that there are 3 of them in Brooklyn. Check this out to learn why Clinton Hill foodies LOVE the one closest to home! www.zaytoonsrestaurant.com

What neighborhood in Montreal, Canada would be the best to stay in during late March?

Posted by admin on March 7th, 2010 and filed under neighborhood restaurant | 6 Comments »

I am going to Montreal in late March. I would like to try the boutique hotel experience and have found some great places in Old Montreal and in the Lation Quarter. Which area would be better to stay in during the month of March? I want to be near things so that I don’t have to drive around or take too many cab or train rides. I don’t want it to be completely dead, but I don’t mind a little quiet. I would like any hotel or restaurant suggestions you have, but really need to know which neighborhood is the best during March.

The Latin Quarter is much more enjoyable than Old Montreal, which gets too many American tourists. The Latin Quarter has or is close to many excellent restaurants and the major French shopping streets of small shops and boutiques.

Where is the best are in Denver if you are looking to go out to a nice restaurant and bars afterwards?

I have never been to Denver before, and am staying there for one night, this Thursday, with my girlfriend. What neighborhood would be best to get a hotel as well as go out to a nice restaurant and some fun bars afterwards?

I’d say go to the 16th Street Mall. They have a variety of high class restaurants and bars basically right next door. Larimer Square is another nice place to go, it is a few blocks from the 16th street mall, so you can always eat on the mall and then make your way to the bars on Larimer. there are many hotels around that area as well.

have fun!

What is going to be a Best Restaurant Concept in 2010 ?

Especial for a small restaurant about 35 seats, in middle class neighborhood…
Included what types of food, and price range, would be nice..

Thanks…

I see food in a drink like a soylent green kind of food staple, like the people in the matrix sat around eating. Full of all the vitamins, supplements and specialized with certain extras singling out problems they solve. A sort of smoothie stand for the soon to be healthy and famous. from $4.00 to $8.00 100% healthy and smart with antioxidants and fiber…..

If a new restaurant popped up in your neighborhood called "Sushi Bueno", would you eat there?

Don’t think this is a negative question….What about Wang’s Enchilada Cafe? Wouldn’t that sound a little off? You know not what you would expect their specialty to be?

Yuck! I hate Seafood, so heck no!
