Program. From October 1996-2006 MOW was under the umbrella of Texas Neighborhood Services. TNS opted to end their contract 1-year ahead of schedule during their FY 05-06. MOW had been passed through numerous organizations over about a 25 year span. Meals on Wheels of Palo Pinto County, Inc. was formed in June of 2006 by a group of dedicated individuals who were either current volunteers of the existing Meals on Wheels program, or supporters of the Meals on Wheels program. MOW of PPC, Inc. took over the contract from TNS on 10/01/2006.
