im watching teen mom, and it seems that child protective services always will stay in pure white neighborhoods, but they never come no where near the ghettos

AM I RIGHT?

Of course they can. I used to live there and a lot of them used to knock on the people’s doors every time a kid was raped, getting beat by their dumb ghetto parents, etc. Just because you don’t hear it a lot coming from some ghettos doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. And people wonder why a lot of kids from the ghetto act up, get into gangs,or are really troubled. Your avatar says Staten Island which is in NY, happens a lot over there. Maybe not your part of Staten Island but other parts sure do.

Maybe in other certain parts of the ghetto it doesn’t happen sometimes is because some of those black kids/or other non-white in the ghetto are quick to call up on their parents (even if they aren’t getting abused or not being properly taken care of) just as a white kid would be quick to tell on their parents if they don’t get their way or feel like they’re being abused. And it’s less likely in the ghetto or most black communities to report to Child Services as those so called "pure white neighborhoods" you named.

Also, some pregnant teens in the ghetto do get their kids taken from them too (seen some on the news). Watching a small glimpse of Teen Mom doesn’t mean "oh it doesn’t happen in the black ghettos/the hood". You’re grown, please look outside in reality in the real world and get out more.

No offense but you aren’t going to do anything they couldn’t do at home? Completely dry them? Clip nails? I would say keep it very cheap and don’t be surprised if you don’t get too many.

Our neighborhood is adjacent to several others where both DSL and cable are offered. However the developer bankrupted in the process of completion. Now the local cable company is asking the Home Owners Association to pay 50k to bury the lines. Isn’t there federal funding and taxes to insure Internet to all access to all areas, or is it only for certain neighborhoods. Currently everyone here is forced to use satellite access and while that is very star trek it is still something that is realistically not practical. One side bar is that we are in the city limits and are surrounded on all side by neighborhoods that are serviced by the local cable company.

Some states have federal money to promote broadband access.

Either way, the cable companies are under no obligation at all to provide access to anyone. They are a business, and they have the right to serve whichever community they think will help their bottom line.

Hallo,my name is verellino i am 28 at the moment i am an employee i would like to have ideas where to invest my money to run my own business with an amount of 10 thousand dollars , i live in an area wtich is growing quite well, what services can i offer to the people where i live and have something in return. Thank you very much indeed.

You are the only one that can figure that out. You need to think about an unmet need that is also something you like to do, complete a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis and write a business plan to prove that the business idea is viable. Go to http://sba.gov/smallbusinessplanner/plan/writeabusinessplan/index.html or http://www.score.org/template_gallery.html for instructions on how to write a business plan and sample business plans.

I am not vastly experienced yet, and the only animal qualification I have is NVQ2 Dog Grooming. I have read on the internet that a flier should state how you can be useful to THEM, not going on and on about yourself and what you can do, if that makes sense. Does anyone have any ideas how I should go about writing a flier? Thank you for any answers.

Keep it simple. A photo of dog walking with an excited look will help. Use brief bullet points to list your services. Do a google search of websites to see how others have done it to get ideas.

Print up business cards and always have them on you when you are out walking. Fliers get taken down. This is very much a word of mouth/referral business.

I am no professional so I don’t want to go to high with the money, but I do need to pay tutition some how.

Lindsay is blowing smoke…I am not "bonded" or "referred" by a trainer and I have a thriving busniess in my neighborhood…I just grew up with dogs and like them and know how to handle them, that’s all you need. I charge $7.50/hr for one dog and $10.00 for 2 dogs and $12 for 3 dogs…I only walk up to 3 dogs at a time…so if they are 3 different owners that is up to $22.50/hr…
