The good thing is I … The good thing is I only buy one of each of the big fancies. I’m going to make some stops on the return trip from FLA with Pop’s van to hopefully find some unique beers to try. One for me, one for Imasofat. Free delivery included. It worked well last time stopping in Newburgh and South jersey before hitting FLA. I need another trip to OCC, but during the day.
I’m reminiscing of … I’m reminiscing of my trip on a day off. Decided to watch some YouTube while sipping on a Stone Bitter Chocolate Oatmeal Stout…WOW! It’s kicking my butt at 9.2 ABV! I’m liking this idea of one big fancy, high ABV beer and then I’m all set for more housework.
Good times. Love … Good times. Love Kölsch! The city of Köln is most associated with this German beer style. When I visited Köln, I had the fantastic Gaffel Kölsch. Try it!
I think I shall go … I think I shall go here in a few weeks to drown my sorrows for turning 45 and having a waist size larger than that, it’s 3 hours each way, I’ll see how many kinds of tap beer I can polish off, sleep in the truck for a bit, then drive back home to Massatucky…sounds like a plan, then again I plan a lot of things I never do.
Good question since … Good question since I gave both a 10 and still stand by it. When it comes down to it, I would drink the Stone Levitation more often because it is a little lighter in body. The chocolate Rogue is heavy bodied and I only drink that when I’m in the mood for a rich beer. But really, both are 10’s.
It was so relaxing … It was so relaxing and friendly at this bar that it really didn’t take much courage. Just the initial turn-on at the beginning was a little weird. But once we’re drinking, the camera has become just as another friend. I’m going to have to give it a name!
Very good job with … Very good job with this video. I still haven’t got the courage or the time to do a review at the bar yet. Two tens in one review that is something.
Two tens in one … Two tens in one sitting? Looks like you guys had fun at the local bar. There’s something about drinking a beer on a nice day that just makes them taste better although the Rogue Chocolate Stout is a very good beer to begin with.
very cool on … very cool on location video. some day ill do one that wont be completly packed, so the sound quality will be better…. rogue on tap you lucky duck. im coming to visit.
The intro was … The intro was awesome, as well as the ending, love Rob Zombie. Anyway, Stone Levitation an excellent choice, has been a personal favourite of mine for a while. Loved the new setting, although it can never truly replace the mansion.
Sigh…Sydney has … Sigh…Sydney has nothing like that bar. All we get in our bars is some of the local beers on tap and thats it. You can’t even really buy imported beer at a bar in Sydney they just don’t sell them ;-(
Great to see you … Great to see you guys got to enjoy the nice weather by getting out ! Looks like a nice bar… I will def have to try that Stout… I love draft beer I think the flavor is different then out of bottles or cans… Keep up the great work !
That looks like a … That looks like a great place to have a pint.. I love the idea of being able to taste the beer first.. All the best and chin chin, Tim
Abercrombie shirt? … Abercrombie shirt? Rob Zombie music? Someone’s got a Peter Pan complex I’d say
LOL
That’s so funny you’re posting a video at a bar the same day I am too.
Yeah Rogue Chocolate Stout is one of my all-time favorites. I’d love to try it on tap!
Never been a fan of kolch beers – bland blonde ales IMHO.
Stone Levitation, eh? I’ll have to try that.
