Is the MLK neighborhood in East Austin safe with regards to crime?

Moving here soon and need to know.

It’s one of the more unsafe areas of the city, but not the worst. Closely north of that is worse.

    Most towns in the US now have a MLK Boulevard or an MLK neighborhood now. Unfortunately, it is usually the most crime-ridden part of any city….

    Its not terrible. I personally wouldn’t live there. Actually pretty much anywhere in east Austin is kind of bad.

    Idk, but in my city in NC, are MLK street is NOT good place to live.
    Crime, drugs, prostitues, are on that street. But their are some big huge model homes on that street too. Not to live in. But something in honor of MLK.

    Most anything EAST of the Highway
    North Central (Rundberg area)

    no, anything in east austin is not safe
    south & west are safest
