They work OK. ADT/Broadview/etc isn't too expensive. Our home is in a shady neighborhood and we actually save money having our Broadview system (our home insurance is significantly lower). Lowe's and Home Depot also sell metal grates you can get for the windows. You can also buy window locks, they're inexpensive but good. :) Best of luck!<br><b>References : </b><br>experience.
