You’ll find some of the information you’re seeking on zillow.com

You might try hotpads.com, or your local assessor’s pages. Some states, like washington, have the sale prices posted on the property assessor’s websites.

the irony here is you can get those comps from a realtor without having to list your home with that realtor – why wouldn’t you do that to get ACCURATE information? Just because you ask a realtor for comps – doesn’t mean you are obligated to use a realtor at all – but at least you could get the info you want – accurately and for free

Like the above poster states, call a Realtor. Tell them what you want and why. Some maybe won’t help but others will. Some Realtors will view this as an opportunity to get to know you and maybe earn your business later on.

Although Zillow claims to be accurate within 7%, I haven’t found them to be that accurate. And if you misprice your home by 7%, that is significant.

List prices are not public information, sold prices will be available at your local tax assessors office.

Since it is a tough time to sell, you should give your home every advantage. Enlisting the services of a Realtor is a smart move.
